Association for Facilities Engineering hosted it’s first annual conference and expo for facilities engineering, operations, management and related professions. The Facilities America Education Forum was held September 10 – 12, 2012 at the Hilton Crystal City at Reagan National Airport, near Washington, DC. This Three-day conference with 24 concurrent sessions, 13 exhibitors and 200+ attendees

DoD Worldwide Education Symposium 2012 (WW12) – Las Vegas, NV

The Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) will host the seventh triennial conference hosted on behalf of the Department of Defense (DoD). WW12 is set for July 23- 27, 2012 at MGM Grand and The Signature at MGM Grand. We expect over 2,600 attendees and 250 plus exhibitors. Events by Design was selected to be the Official Contractor to coordinate the conference and expo.

Internal Revenue Service

IRS Workshops for Small and Mid-Sized Organizations – Nationwide

IRS conducted six three-day workshops each year across the country to educate non-profits how to complete their taxes with a 501(c)3 status.  Events by Design worked with the IRS from 2007 to 2011.  Events by Design coordinated 72 workshop days for the IRS with over 14,000 attendees.

KaBOOM! UPlay! (Conference) – Chicago, IL

The KaBOOM! University of Play, (U Play!) an informative & inspiration-filled 2 ½day training that provides all the tools & resources you need to promote play & build great play spaces in your community.  Over 350 attendees from local organizations joined KaBOOM! at Crowne Plaza near the Rosemont Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Services:  conference management, registration review, vendor management, set-up/dismantle, hotel liaison/contract review, audio/visual management, exhibitor contact/set-up, and conference materials.

HD Expo 2006/2007 – Las Vegas, NV

Presented by Hospitality Design magazine and produced by Nielsen, the HD Expo is the industry’s premier trade show, providing attendees with the tools to succeed year-round in the ever-changing, ultra-competitive field of hospitality design. The show draws approximately 7,000 attendees to view more than 900 exhibitors from across the globe. This show is held annually at the Sands Expo and Convention Center is Las Vegas, Nevada.
