About Us

About MarCom
MarCom is headed by Michael Romero, CEM, who has over 15 years of association management experience, providing a combination of both virtual and face-to-face support to a range of clientele. Michael started his career at the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing, working his way up from intern to events and program manager, where he oversaw all aspects of the logistics for over 15 training events per month. During his tenure there, Michael streamlined their registration process for events by implementing a “centralized” registration process for the organization, enhanced the exhibitor communications by developing exhibitor newsletters, developed and managed the corporate travel program to include developing travel policies, budgets and arrangements for independent meeting consultants and participated as a key member of the development team implementing a new Association Management System (From Ablaze database system to Avectra’s NetForum system).
